What We Do
At Rashak, farming is more than business; it’s a calling. We grow food, empower farmers, and finance agriculture ethically through Sharia-compliant, interest-free models that promote fairness and shared prosperity.
Input Financing
Other than zero-interest loans we give to farmers, Rashak provides essential agricultural inputs, including seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, to smallholder farmers at the most competitive prices,.
This financial aid ensures farmers receive high-quality resources, thereby enhancing productivity and improving yields. We deal in grains like; maize, soy beans, cashew, wheat, paddy rice, millet, sorghum.
Aggregation Services
Creation of market access for farmer produce, complete with storage and warehouse facilities to reduce post-harvest loss. We also sell the grains we buy from farmers to off-takers.
Training, Development, and Welfare
We provide comprehensive training in modern agricultural practices, sustainable farming techniques, and financial literacy. Our development programs aim to enhance farmers’ skills, increase their productivity, and improve their livelihoods.
We also prioritize the welfare of our farmers by offering free medical checks and support that address their unique needs and challenges, in order to foster healthy and thriving farming communities.
Primary Processing
Our operations encompass primary processing activities, specifically the cleansing of seeds prior to further processing.
This essential stage guarantees the absence of impurities in the seeds, preparing them for final processing and thereby elevating the quality and marketability of agricultural products. Our primary processing endeavors enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the agricultural value chain.

What We Do
At Rashak, farming is more than business; it’s a calling. We grow food, empower farmers, and finance agriculture ethically through Sharia-compliant, interest-free models that promote fairness and shared prosperity.
To mention but a few, here's why a Sharia-compliant social enterprise like ours would use Takaful insurance:
Sharia Compliance
Takaful operates on Sharia principles, using a shared fund where policyholders contribute. This system avoids riba (Interest), gharar (uncertainty), and maysir (gambling) found in conventional insurance, ensuring ethical, mutually beneficial operations.
Risk Mitigation
Takaful insurance offers farmers a crucial safaety net against agricultural risks like weather, pests, and market shifts, safeguarding their investments and livelihoods. This aligns with Rashak’s goal of farmer empowerment and financial stability.
Mutual Assistance
Takaful embodies ta’awun (mutual assistance), so Rashak’s participation protects its interests while supporting policyholders and the well-being of the farming communities we serve, reflecting Ihsan (excellence and benevolence).
