Our Processes

At Rashak, we have established a series of processes when carrying out our business to ensure that our support to smallholder farmers is comprehensive, sustainable, and effective. These processes are designed to empower farmers, promote sustainable agricultural practices, and enhance community well-being. Here’s how we do it:

Input Disbursement

We provide farmers with essential agricultural inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides through an interest-free loan program. This financial assistance ensures that farmers have access to high-quality inputs, enabling them to enhance their productivity and improve their yields. By empowering farmers with the necessary resources, we help break the cycle of poverty and promote sustainable agricultural practices.

Farm Monitoring Activities:

Our field officers regularly visit the farms to inspect and monitor their condition. This ongoing support ensures that farms are maintained at optimum productivity levels. By providing continuous technical assistance and addressing any challenges that arise, we help farmers maximize their yield potential and ensure the success of their crops.

Climate-Smart Agriculture and Best Practices Training

We are strong advocates of climate-smart agriculture. We train farmers on best practices to improve their yield and ensure that they consider environmental impacts in all their activities. This includes the use of drought-resistant crop varieties, efficient water management techniques, and agroforestry. Our training programs equip farmers with the knowledge and skills needed to implement sustainable farming practices that enhance resilience to climate change.

Medical Outreach

Recognizing the importance of health for agricultural productivity, we conduct post-harvest medical outreach programs to ensure that our farmers are healthy. These programs provide free medical checkups and healthcare services, extending beyond just the farmers to benefit their entire communities. By prioritizing health and well-being, we enhance the capacity of farmers to work efficiently and improve their overall quality of life.
